RECALL OF INFORMATION - 15% increase

Dr Richard Wiseman, UK Psychologist, conducted an online test to examine the impact of a hand drawn video compared to a standard talking head video. He prepared two videos on the same topic using the same voiceover.

In one video he was filmed as he spoke about the topic, the other video used the hand drawn technique in sync to his narration.  He had 2000 people take part and randomly assigned 1000 people to watch either video. Immediately after watching the video the viewer undertook an online questionnaire about the information presented in the video.
